Enameled metal signs from "The Beirut Book" @ Beirut Art Fair

Here they are! Eleven months after The Beirut Book's launching in Beirut, David Hury exhibits his enameled metal signs at Beirut Art Fair (Biel), thanks to Lara Saab who was commissioned by the Parisian gallery Nikki Diana Marquardt for the show "Heritage of Emitions". The Beirut Book | Rendezvous in Paris

(For once, let's use French... as our event happens in Paris)

Après Beyrouth en novembre, après Bruxelles en février, nous voici donc à Paris pour le lancement de The Beirut Book (Ed. Tamyras). Le programme est dense en cette période de Salon du livre... Quatre rendez-vous sont prévus pour des séances de dédicace avec l'auteur, David Hury:

Lost Strange Things by Tanya Traboulsi

Lebanese-Austrian photographer Tanya Traboulsi is back with a solo exhibition at Art Factum Gallery in Beirut (Qarantina), until April 11. The present series "illustrates the different facets that represent home while simultaneously observing the affiliation to time, space, people and memory". Tanya's new exhibition os accompanied by a monograph published by Triton.

The Beirut Book | Book signing in Brussels

I love Brussels, I love its book fair. I'm part of it for the third time, after "Quiet Days in Beirut" (Riveneuve, 2009) and "Wiretapping Beirut" (Amers, 2011). And now for "The Beirut Book" (Tamyras, 2014).

If you missed yesterday's book signing, you'll get a second chance today (February 28). I'll be at the Foire du livre at 4pm (booth 402), and tomorrow on air, hosted by Eddy Caekelberghs on La Première at 6pm. In the meantime, I'll be around, having a delicious Chimay Bleue, eating either some waffles or some Belgian fries, meeting some friends.
